CAIRO - 24 April 2023: Member of the media center at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, Dr. Manar Ghanem, said that the weather conditions continue to be stable, and the temperatures are around their normal levels at this time of the year, where there will be an increase in temperatures during the daytime periods. 
 
Ghanem added that the weather at night, and with the absence of sunlight occurs a decrease in temperature and is noticeable in the late night hours and and early morning.
 
A member of the media center at the General Authority of Meteorology explained that the chances of rain are limited only to some areas south of the Red Sea mountain ranges, such as Halayeb, Shalateen and Marsa Alam, which are light rain opportunities and may be thunderstorms sometimes, but Greater Cairo and the northern governorates do not have any.
 
This weather will continue on Tuesday, and with Wednesday and Thursday, it is expected that there will be slight rises in temperatures, then it will start to drop again from Friday.
 
Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center of the General Meteorological Authority, advised citizens not to wear light clothes in the evening or early morning, due to the low temperature at these times, and so that they do not catch colds, stressing the need to keep a light jacket when going out late at night and early in the morning.
 
Ghanem added that exposure to the sun for long periods of noon should be avoided, noting that the weather is very stable in most governorates.
 
A member of the media center at the Meteorological Authority explained that the water mist will reappear from tomorrow in the late night hours and early morning periods on agricultural and desert roads and close to water bodies, but the water mist leads to a slight decrease in horizontal visibility that will not affect traffic significantly.
