Egypt weather to witness continued decline in temperature Thursday, light rain in some parts

CAIRO - 2 February 2023: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects that Thursday will witness a continued decrease in temperatures in all parts, so that cold weather will prevail in the early morning. 

 

The authority also expected that the weather will be moderate during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt, and tilted to warmth in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, while it will be cold at night in the north of the country, as well as in Greater Cairo and in the southern parts of the country.

 

Light to moderate rains are expected to fall on northwestern coasts, north Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, and central Sinai, at intermittent intervals.

 

As for the temperatures on Thursday:

 

Cairo to record highs of 18 degrees and lows of 10

 

Alexandria to record highs of 17 and lows 09

 

Matrouh to record highs of 16 degrees and lows 09

 

Sohag to record highs of 19 degrees and lows 07

 

Qena to record highs of 19 degrees and lows 08

 

Aswan to record highs of 20 degrees and lows 09

 

The winter season this year, according to astronomical calculations, will be 88 days, 23 hours and 38 minutes long, and will end on Monday, March 20, 2023 CE.
