ALEXANDRIA - Egypt - 16 July 2017: Alexandria Governor Mohamed Sultan denounced on Sunday all forms of violence and terrorism, stressing that terrorism is not linked to any religion.

Heinous attacks targeting churches are also an attack on mosques, he said, stressing that such attacks are not tolerated by Islam or any other religion.

The governor made the remarks following his visit to the security guard of the Saints Church who was wounded in an attack by a man.

A 24-year-old man identified as Mina Fouad, 47, assaulted the church guard using a razor blade when he banned him from entering the place.
