Egypt’s President: Reshuffle to improve Cabinet's performance on important files on domestic, foreign levels

CAIRO – 13 August 2022: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that he invited the House of Representatives to convene on Saturday to discuss a reshuffle that includes a number of ministerial portfolios.

In a Facebook post, Sisi said the upcoming cabinet reshuffle aims to develop the government’s performance in some important files on the domestic and foreign levels.

He added that those important files will be carried out to serve contribute to protecting the resources and interests of the state and directly touch the services provided to citizens, for which we all work.

Sisi thanked all the ministers who finished their duty and wished success for those who succeeded them.

Today’s Cabinet reshuffle will reportedly include the ministers of irrigation, higher education, health, immigration, tourism and antiquities, trade and industry, civil aviation, manpower, culture, education, public enterprise, and military production.
