The issue of gas supplies will figure high during President Sisi's visit to Germany, he said, noting that this issue constitutes a major crisis in Germany.

The global food security is a matter of great concern, he further said.

Talking about the German investments in Egypt, Albani said that the German company Siemens Mobility is cooperating with Egypt to build a safe and sustainable electric railway system, adding that Germany is also implementing several infrastructure projects in Egypt
