CAIRO – 29 June 2022: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met Wednesday with Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa in Manama ahead of his meeting with King Hamad Bin Eissa Al Khalifa.

The press photo released by the Egyptian Presidency showed a portrait of President Sisi hanging on the wall behind him and the crown prince.

Coming from Oman, the president had been received Tuesday evening by Bahraini King Hamad bin Eissa Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Airport.

The two leaders headed to Al-Sakhir Palace in the capital, Manama, where an official reception ceremony was held, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

On Tuesday morning, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met with Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tarek al-Said at Al Elm Al Amer Castle in Muscat holding talks without the officials of both countries unlike Monday's meeting.

The presidency's press statement indicated that the Sultan valued the distinguished role played by Egypt in the reinforcement of joint Arab work in the face of crises and challenges, which is essential for stability in the Middle East and enhancement of the developmental, economic, and social conditions.

On his side, the president lauded the level of Egyptian-Omani coordination and similarity in visions on issues of mutual interest.

That is best embodied in the two countries' congruence on backing efforts deployed to maintain the security of navigation in the Red Sea and the Arab Gulf. That also extends to combating terrorist and extremist organizations.

Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah al Sisi will embarked on Monday, in a tour that includes Oman and Bahrain to discuss the bilateral ties between Egypt and both of the two Gulf states, according to presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady.
