CAIRO - 22 May 2022: Member of the House of Representatives' Foreign Relations Committee Gihan Zaki has outlined the Egyptian state's efforts to maintain Egyptian heritage and culture as well as the pivotal role of cultural diplomacy and the state's achievements in the era of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

During her participation in meetings organized by the Egyptian Embassy in Paris with France's spectra, Zaki pointed out to the role played by the Egyptian state to maintain heritage and highlighted the Egyptian government's efforts to develop archeological areas and make them ready to receive tourists.

Zaki said the Egyptian and French peoples are bound by ancient civilizations and great interest in Egyptology among others.

The Egyptian lawmaker stressed the importance of the role of women in Egypt's society and the state's keenness to empower women.

Egypt's Ambassador in Paris Alaa Yousef outlined the recently-discovered antiques and the mega projects launched in the country in the past years.

The Egyptian envoy hailed the strategic political relations binding Egypt and France and coordination between the two countries vis-a-vis regional and international crises.
