Egypt’s Interior Ministry presents gifts to orphans, disabled children, citizens on Eid Al-Fitr

CAIRO – 4 May 2022: Egypt’s Ministry of Interior presented gifts and clothes to orphans, children with disabilities, and children of female prisoners in correctional and rehabilitation centers on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, which ends on Wednesday.

The general administration of environment and landscape police also participated in the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr by distributing gifts to citizens.

President Abdel Fatah al- Sisi was keen on celebrating the first day of Eid Al-Fitr (The Feast of Breaking the Fast) with the children of officers who were injured and killed on duty, fighting terrorists.

During a ceremony held Monday morning, President Sisi participated in a memorial photo with the children.

He also toured with the children in the games area that was designated for them to celebrate the feast, and gave them gifts.

Sisi on Monday also honored a number of families of martyrs of police and the army and medical teams during a celebration of Eid Al-Fitr.

The Eid Al-Fitr celebration included a number of theatrical and entertainment performances for children.
