Canadian FM calls Egypt's Sameh Shoukry on advancing relations

CAIRO – 28 April 2022: Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry received a Wednesday phone call from his Canadian counterpart Mélanie Joly on advancing relations.

The two ministers discussed means to enhance cooperation in various fields and developments regionally and internationally.

They emphasized the ongoing improvements in trade and economic ties, where Shoukry highlighted that Egypt looks forward to a continuation of improvements at all levels.

According to a statement by the spokesperson of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they both agreed on continuing consultation and coordination in the comping period.
