Libya participates in 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development preparatory meeting

CAIRO - 28 March 2022: Undersecretary of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation Omar Keti thanked Japan and the African Union Commission over organizing a preparatory meeting for the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8).

During the meeting, he asserted the importance of the conference to reach sustainable development at all levels.

He also stressed the Libyan institutions’ keenness on benefiting from the expertise and performance of the Japanese technical institutions in training Libyan and African cadres and creating overall strategic partnership between the African and Japanese sides.
