CAIRO- 27 January 2022: The Egyptian Sector of Civil Status has established 17 digitized civil registry offices at commercial malls nationwide, announced the Ministry of Interior in a statement on Thursday.

The statement added that the sector is keen to provide its automated services easily and smoothly, based on the directives of Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior, for the citizens in a civilized manner.

It wasn’t the first time to establish these offices in malls; the ministry, in March 2021, opened several civil registry offices at a number of malls in Cairo, Alexandria, Kafr el Sheikh, and Dakahlia.

It also had provided translation centers at a number of governorates, adding different languages like Dutch and Czech languages, besides other languages of English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, etc.
