CAIRO – 22 January 2022: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri attended on Saturday the 3rd session of the Egyptian-Omani business council with the presence of his Omani counterpart, Badr Albusaidi.

Shoukry called on Omani investors and private business owners to make the best use of the mega economic and developmental projects carried out in Egypt, saying they offer a wide variety of investment opportunities.

This comes especially in light of the country's successful economic reforms to ensure a business-friendly climate, he said.

Shoukry also hailed the regular convention of the council ever since it was established in 2019. Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais Al Yousef attended the meeting.

Earlier on Saturday, Shoukry started a visit to the Omani capital, Muscat, leading the Egyptian delegation to the 15th session of the Egyptian-Omani joint committee.
