Egypt expected to see temperature decline, light rain Wednesday

CAIRO – 18 January 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects, Wednesday, to witness a decline in temperature, where cold weather will prevail during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt.

 

The weather is expected to be moderate on southern Sinai and the mountain ranges of the Red Sea, cold in southern Upper Egypt, very cold at night in all parts.

 

EMA stated that Wednesday will witness light to medium rain on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, and light rain is also expected in Greater Cairo.

 

 

As for the temperatures on Wednesday:

 

Cairo will record highs of 15 degrees and lows of 7 degrees

 

Alexandria will record highs of 15 degrees and lows of 10 degrees

 

Matrouh will record highs of 15 degrees and lows of 9 degrees

 

Sohag will record highs of 17 degrees and lows of 5 degrees

 

Qena will record highs of 17 degrees and lows of 5 degrees

 

Aswan will record highs of 17 degrees and lows of 7 degrees
