CAIRO – 6 December 2021: Egyptian authorities on Monday continued operating Rafah border crossing on both sides to facilitate the transit of stranded Palestinians and the entry of aid and construction materials to the Gaza Strip.

Rafah, the only crossing point between Egypt and Palestine's Gaza Strip, has been open to allow the passage of stranded and humanitarian cases on both sides, in addition to the delivery of humanitarian aid and reconstruction equipment to the Palestinians.

Administrative and technical staff are on hand to facilitate and speed up the completion of transit procedures for travelers and the entry of relief aid and reconstruction materials into the enclave.
