CAIRO - 10 July 2017: Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fathy said that it was contracted to buy the second batch of airport-securing devices within the framework of a plan to pay attention to priorities.

In statements on Monday, the minister said that the civil aspect of the administrative capital and Sphinx airports are being implemented.

Up to 38 planes will be bought to Egypt Air company as part of the plan to increase airplanes of the national carrier.

Fathy denied that a delegation comprising Russian experts arrived in Egypt to inspect Egyptian airports, noting the it will be announced when the Russian tourism to the country returns.

The ministry is committed to applying safety and security standards at airports via the most up-to-date securing devices and surveillance cameras, the minister reiterated
