CAIRO – 15 October 2021: The airline route from Sharm el-Sheikh to Luxor will be reinstated at L.E. 1,800 for a roundtrip starting from Oct. 27.

Minister of Tourism Khaled al-Enany and Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar met on Thursday to discuss promotion of tourism, where they agreed that the trip would initially be once a week.

Egypt has embarked in recent years on projects connecting mainland Egypt, especially Luxor and Aswan, to Red Sea resorts so tourists enjoy the most of the two worlds, vacationing at the beautiful resorts experiencing history and culture in the Nile Valley.

The airline route was last active in 2015, and it was decided to be reinstated per a request from officials in the tourism sector.

Further, flights will be increased on Oct. 21 to meet demands to watch the sin alignment at Abu Simbel Temple in Aswan.
