CAIRO - 26 Septemebr 2020: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Saturday stressed the state's keenness to boost its economic and commercial ties with various countries in the region and the whole world.

Egypt will remain a commercial, logistical and cultural hub linking East and West, the premier added.

The Egyptian state has managed throughout history to develop its political, economic, social and intellectual relations with all countries of the world, Madbouli said.

The Egyptian civilization was one of the first to transfer cultures between countries through trade exchange, where trade marked the beginning of civilization development and the exchange of cultures, customs, ideas and inventions, he added.

In the last decade, Egypt was able to return to Africa thanks to a wise vision and active and conscious diplomacy led by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the premier said.

Egypt has also signed several agreements with various global economic blocs, including the Egyptian-European Partnership Agreement with the European Union and the MERCOSUR Agreement with Latin American countries, while negotiations are underway to sign a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Union countries.
