CAIRO - 8 August 2021: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani on Sunday in the capital, Manama, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Hafez on his official Twitter account.
 
Both ministers discussed ways for advancing the bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as coordinating positions and exchanging visions regarding the successive regional developments.
 
 
Shoukry headed for Bahrain in an official visit on Saturday evening to deliver a written message from the Egyptian president to the Bahraini king.
 
According to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s message to King Hamad bin Eisa Al-Khalifa is related to boosting bilateral relations in all fields.
 
The message is also concerned with boosting coordination on regional developments in a way that enhances the pillars of stability in the region and protects the elements of the Arab national security, the statement read.
