CAIRO - 6 August 2021: The Arab League (AL) reiterated Thursday on its keenness on supporting and developing the Arab-African action in all the technical, scientific, and technological fields.

This cooperation could be perceived by the Arab League’s Arab Fund for Technical Assistance to African Countries (AFTAAC), which was established in a move aimed at reinforcing ties among the Arab and African states, to convene soon in Riyadh in the light of the 5th Arab-African summit.

Assistant AL chief and director of AFTAAC Hassan Rabhi made these remarks as the activities of the 2nd session for training physicians from South Sudan were wrapped up in Cairo, where it was held on July 30- August 5.

AFTAAC was established to strengthen the Arab-African capabilities in face of the emerging challenges, globally imposed, especially the technological ones, Rabhi said.
