Egypt’s Sisi inspects development construction work of road, axes in North Coast

CAIRO – 16 July 2021: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected development work of some roads and axes in the North Coast on Friday, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi in a statement 

 

The President directed the government to complete it in order to integrate with the national projects in this region.

 

The ongoing development of these roads and axes include the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road (160 km in length), the Dabaa 260km-long axis, and Wadi El-Natrun Road with a length of 130 km to become 8 traffic lanes in both directions each.

 

The development work also includes raising the efficiency of the international coastal road until El Alamein Airport.

 

Such projects aim at quickly contributing to ending the traffic congestion in these areas and making it easier for citizens.
