CAIRO, May 8 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Saturday reviewed a report on the efforts exerted by the Cabinet's medical complaints committee in April.

The committee monitored and responded to 584 cases requiring medical interventions last month, its head Hossam El Masry said.

The committee's activities also resulted in conducting 267 surgeries and issuing 92 treatment decisions at the state's expense, Masry added.

The committee also issued six decisions to conduct bone marrow transplantations and provided 20 disabled people with artificial limbs, he said, adding that medical measures were offered to 39 cases suffering from cancers.

The committee as well took legal action against 13 people who published fake news on social media, Masry added.
