Egypt sees weather improvement after intense heat wave

CAIRO – 21 April 2021: After an intense heat wave that has hit the country over the past few days, a decline in temperature degrees is expected.

 

The heat wave has peaked on Monday, recording highs of 41 degrees Celsius.

 

The intensity has lessened as of Tuesday, with the temperature degrees remarkably decreasing.

 

Satellite images showed that cities in the west, including Sallum and Marsa Matrouh will feel weather improvement and a decrease in temperature over the coming hours.

 

A moderate weather is witnessed in Greater Cairo and northern coasts after a decrease in temperature was recorded on Wednesday.

 

On Wednesday, Cairo records highs of 27 and lows of 22. The weather will be hot in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, with low chances of rainfall.
