CAIRO – 8 April 2021: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized Wednesday a field trip to the New Administrative Capital for the ambassadors of European countries and Canada to Egypt.

 

The ambassadors were briefed on the constructions accomplished in the New Capital, and what has been achieved to move the government.

 

The tour included visits to the Arts and Culture City; the Business Park, which houses giant office buildings including the Iconic Tower; the Governmental Neighborhood, including the Cabinet's headquarters; Banks Neighborhood; Al Masa Hotel, the Cathedral; and, Al Fatah Al Alim Mosque.

 

Representatives of the New Capital Company presented the facilities and services available in the city and how it evolved over the years. They also displayed the rules and bases of transferring embassies to the New Capital, and facilitation offered to move to the Embassies Neighborhood.

 

The ministry indicated in a press statement Thursday that ambassadors of countries located in other geographical regions will be offered tours in the New Capital.
