Save a Life — It Could Be Yours
It’s a long commute from my home in Al-Shorouk to the office in Maadi. Every morning I sit through endless traffic as I make my way across three major motorways, despairingly listening to the radio traffic reports every 30 minutes in the hopes of finding out why the roads are gridlocked. It’s invariably one of a handful of scenarios:
- A speeding driver loses control of the wheel and crashes into a barrier or a lamppost.
- A truck overturns, spilling its load (mostly it’s gravel or sand) across the asphalt and blocking the road.
- A car trying to get around the traffic
