Zeid Hamdan and Maryam Saleh will perform together at Darb 1718 on June 7 at 8pm. Pioneering Lebanese indie pop and electronic producer Hamdan is joining hands with Egyptian indie singer Saleh for their first collaboration in Egypt in a project called The Trip-Hop Project
Hamdan is the producer behind various indie rising stars, including Soapkills and Hiba Mansouri and Saleh is known for her rock and oriental sounds as she is heavily influenced by Sheikh Imam.

The Jokers and Déjà Vu will perform on June 7 at the Cairo Jazz Club at 8pm.
The Jokers is a psychedelic rock band formed in 2010. “The band is obsessed with 60’s Psychedelia that had a great effect on people at that time,” as their Facebook page says. The group is made up of four members, guitarist Abouseif, drummer Sherif Abdallah and founders George Aboutar and Psycho.
Déjà Vu band is a retro group that plays funk, soul, rhythm and blues covers.

A mix of various chart-topping musicals will be performed on June 7 at the Cairo Opera House’s main hall at 8pm.

Tache Art is holding Deena Fadel, Rossana Corrado and Wael Sabour’s latest exhibition, “Encounter.” The exhibition, held from June 9 and until the end of summer. Sabour portrays peaceful co-existence through a “Mediterranean Dream,” his inspired collection from Alexandria while Fadel’s mixed media portrays competition, battle, power and authority, reflecting the social and political ambiance in Egypt at the moment. Corrado highlights man’s desire for knowledge, improvement and inner balance through her sculptures.

Dust exhibition ends on June 13. Xenia Nikolsaya’s photographic exhibition Dust explores Egypt’s abandoned architectural heritage. Nikolskaya lives between St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Cairo and has worked as a professional photographer since 1995. Her work is renowned internationally and she has worked for top names in the publishing industry, as well as displayed her art in some of the most renowned galleries.

karim Bakry's exhibition’s “The Missing Pieces” at Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art ends on June 18. The exhibition includes pictures taken from the revolution displayed on boxes that cannot display a whole image, leaving unmarked spaces between each, such as the missing pieces for a successful revolution.
The exhibition will include two sections: an installation and a display of photographs.

The exhibition hosts the artwork of several independent artists and reflects the consumerism of today's society.
