The substance also rubs off on Peter’s colleague Eddie (Topher Grace) turning him into a villainous Spider-Man look-alike known as Venom. Meanwhile, Peter’s old friend Harry Osbourne (James Franco) plans his revenge, taking up the mantle of his late father’s persona as the New Goblin. Shot back-to-back with last year’s second part, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End looks set to become one of the biggest hits of this summer. The story picks up right after Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) was swallowed by the deadliest of sea monsters, the Kraken. Friends Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), Will (Orlando Bloom) and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) face Captain Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) who has formed a dark alliance with Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander) to wipe out the last of the pirates, including the infamous Chinese sea Captain Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). Legendary Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards was the source of inspiration for Depp’s drunken pirate and has agreed to appear in a cameo as Jack Sparrow’s father.
