The cabinet approved a draft decision of the President of the Republic regarding pardoning the remainder of the sentence for some convicts.
The Official Gazette (Al-Waqa'i' al-Misriyya) published President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s Decision No. 417 of 2023 regarding pardoning a new group of some convicts.
Those are eligible for release in accordance with presidential pardon terms.
