Families of the victims and missing persons can contact the working group to provide information that helps identify the victims, said the Ministry in a statement on Monday.
It is the ship that inspired the makers of the American adventure movie “The Goonies”.
The RMS Titanic, the largest passenger ship in the early 1900s, sank on April 14, 1912.
Under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, the archaeological mission of the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, succeeded in uncovering the front of the ship wrecked on Saadana Island in the Red Sea.
“Egypt also reaffirms, in this regard, the need to coordinate the efforts of the international community to combat human trafficking and smuggling networks,” the statement said.
The U.S. navy vessel called Sea Watch to alert them to the shipwreck and ask for assistance
