The ministry said in a statement that the two wells will be put on the map of production in 2020.
The announcement came during an inspection tour paid by Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla to Port Said governorate.
Atoll is expected to start production before the end of 2017.
The production is estimated to come at a rate of 300 million cubic feet of gas per day.
Habi-16 and Taurt-8 wells were put on production at an average of 140 million cubic feet of gas.
Molla asked companies working on Atoll field to double production from the project.
