As for the 273-day T-bonds, worth LE 8.750 billion, they achieved average revenue of 19.812 percent, the ministry said.
The ministry sold LE 8.250 billion of 91-day T-bonds with an average interest rate hitting 19.62 percent. The yield ranged from 19.675 percent to 19.349 percent.
The cancellation decision came to prevent the state treasury from carrying an unjustified service charge for a period of three to seven years
The ministry said it sold LE 7.5 billion of 182-day T-bills with an average yield of 17.569 percent.
