CAIRO - 22 June 2017: Followers of Abrahamic religions believe that Prophet Moses struck a rock from which 12 springs gushed; located in Egypt. It is interesting to see a site respected so much by billions of people, who belong to three different faiths.

Located165 kilometers from Ras Sudr, Oyoun Moussa (Moses Springs) has a direct view of the Gulf of Suez.

It is well known for its beauty and heavy grass, as well as palm trees. Time took its toll on the springs and only five remain. Each spring had a name, some of which can be translated into the Roses Spring, the Northern Spring, the Western Spring, the Old Man Spring, the Sheikh Spring, the Bubbling spring and the Waterwheel Spring.

Arriving at this spot, you can find Bedouins selling their handmade accessories. Beautiful sights of wild, tall and fruitful palm trees give the place its unique experience.

Next time you are heading to Sharm el-Sheikh for a vacation, make sure you visit the nearby springs. The place is being developed into a resort for visitors interested in the history of the area or therapeutic remedies.
