Egypt facilitates flights for Algerian fans to attend AFCON quarter-finals

CAIRO, July 8 (MENA) - Several flights will be organized between Algeria and Egypt to allow Algerian fans to watch their national team's game in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-finals, Egypt's Ambassador to Algeria Ayman Musharrafah said.

The Egyptian Embassy in Algeria is doing utmost to issue the required visas to Algerian fans whose numbers have been remarkably increasing as their squad are advancing towards the tournament final stages, the ambassador told MENA on Monday.

Algeria booked on Sunday their place in the quarter finals of AFCON after defeating Guinea 3-0.

They will face the Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals on Thursday.
