All you need to know about taking pets on EgyptAir flights

CAIRO – 22 October 2018: EgyptAir allows travelers to accompany pets such as dogs, cats and birds if they provide a valid vaccination certificate.

Egypt Today lets you know the requirements for taking pets on EgyptAir flights:

• The weight of the animal or its cage does not exceed 5 kilograms.

• Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old when traveling.

• Passengers assume full responsibility for their pets.

• EGYPTAIR assumes no responsibility for the injury, loss or death of these pets.

• Passengers must carry enough food for the pet during the flight.

• Pets will not be included in the normal free baggage allowance, which is about 8 kilograms.

• Passengers may be accompanied by falcons, but under the terms of EgyptAir Company.

• Passengers must provide pet passports.
