HURGHADA - 25 December 2017: The first regular flight of "Air Cairo" arrived on Monday at Marsa Allam Airport coming from Italy's Milan city, with 170 tourists on board.

In a statement, Director of Public Relations at Marsa Allam Airport Mohamed Taman said that water salutes have been used to mark the flight's arrival as a part of the international protocol of the arrival of the first flight of an airline to an airport.

The passengers were also greeted with flowers from the moment of their arrival and the arrival ceremony was displayed on the airport's screens, Taman added.

Air Cairo will also operate a new flight from the Italian cities of Milan and Verona to Marsa Alam Airport, using the Airbus A320 family aircraft, said Chairman of IMAC Airport Management and Operations Hany Aqab.

The airport's administration provides all facilities and services to facilitate the procedures for passengers and aircraft, he noted.
