CAIRO – 27 June 2017: Memphis Depay, former Manchester United and current Olympique Lyonnais player, shocked the football world after releasing his first ever rap song.

Depay released his own music video on June 23 featuring him singing with fellow Netherlands national team player Quincy Promes.

The song titled ‘LA Vibes Freestyle 1.0’ earned around 150,000 views within hours after it was uploaded to YouTube.

The 23 year old Dutch winger Depay will arrive in France in the next few weeks in order to start the pre-season with Lyon, according to UK newspaper The Daily Mail.

Depay participated in the recent 5-0 Netherlands victory against Luxembourg, playing for 66 minutes on June 9 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Depay joined Lyon from Manchester United in January with an estimated fee of around £17 million ($19 million). He has scored five goals in 12 appearances, according to the UK newspaper The Sun.
