CAIRO – 11 October 2019: Liverpool German manager, Jurgen Klopp, named the Premier League manager of the month in September after leading his team Liverpool to an early lead at the Premier League.

The German won the award after a competition with Eddie Howe of Bournemouth, Frank Lampard of Chelsea and Brendan Rodgers of Leicester City.

Liverpool achieved a perfect start at the league with 24 points from their first eight games at the league and they are leading the table with 8 points ahead of the second placed and defending campions, Manchester City.

After the international break, the Reds will face Manchester United and they hope to keep their winning run going.

Liverpool are chasing their first League title in almost three decades as they last achieved the title in 1990.

The Reds aim to avoid last season’s fate when they lost the title after a fierce competition with Manchester City by one point.
