CAIRO - 12 June 2017: Riyad Karim Mahrez announced on Sunday that he wants to leave Leicester City this year. The Algerian international player wants to move to another team.

Rumors linked Mahrez to big European teams, especially Arsenal and Barcelona.

Mahrez said “there's a big difference between an offer and speculation, so there is nothing on the table at the moment,” Sky Sports rported on Sunday.

Mahrez played in Leicester City from 2015 and he wone the premier league in 2016 with Leicester in one of the most shocking moments in the history of the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger, Arsenal coach, praised the Algerian player saying “We have not made a bid for him but personally I like the player,” ESPNFC reported on June 2.

Mahrez, 26, scored 10 goals in 44 games with Leicester City last season, according to whoscored.com
