CAIRO - 12 June 2017: French fans want Zinedine Zidane to be the next French coach after the 2018 World Cup in Russia, according to a survey carried out by RTL.fr on Sunday.

About 72 percent of the participants see Zidane as the next coach of the French national team after the current manager Didier Deschamps, who will lead France in the World Cup.

Zidane’s with Real Madrid, winning two Champions League titles in a row in 2016 and 2017 for the first time in the history of the competition and winning the Spanish League this year after four years of absence made him one of the best coaches in the world.

Frank Lebeouf, the former French international defender, said last month “it seems that when Zidane touches something, it becomes golden, we all feel that Zidane will be the next national coach,” according to the Daily Mail.

Zidane played for France and he led the French team to win their only World Cup title, which was held in France in 1998, scoring two goals in the final against Brazil.
