CAIRO – 11 June 2017: The Egyptian national team will be playing in Rades, Tunisia, on Sunday midnight against the Tunisian national team in the qualifiers of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

The Egyptian national team is expected to start with the following lineup against Tunisia:
Goalkeeper: Sherif Ekramy (Al-Ahly.)

Defenders: Ahmed Fathy as a right back (Al-Ahly), Ahmed Hegazy as a center back (Al-Ahly), Ali Gabr as a center back (Zamalek), Mohamed Abdel Shafy as left back (Ahly Jedda.)

Defensive midfielders: Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal), Tarek Hamed (Zamalek.)

Attacking midfielders: Mohamed Salah on the right (AS Roma), Abdallah Said in the middle (Al-Ahly), Ramadan Sobhy on the left (Stoke City.)

Striker: Mahmoud Kahraba (Zamalek SC.)

Hector Cuper, Egyptian national team manager, has decided to remove the following players from the final Egyptian squad that will compete against Tunisia: Ahmed El-Shennawi, Hossam Ashour, Ahmed El Sheikh, Ramy Rabea and Mostafa Fathy.

Egypt is in the 10th group in African Cup of Nations 2019 qualifiers with Tunisia, Swaziland, and Niger. Swaziland and Niger played on June 10 and the match ended with a 0-0 draw.
