CAIRO, 21 July 2019: After the end of the 2019 AFCON by Algeria achievement for the second time in their history, it’s time to go back to the unfinished Egyptian League.

Zamalek returns to the domestic competitions when they face El Gouna at El Gouna stadium at 08:00 p.m.

Zamalek’s coach, Khaled Galal, has settled on the starting line-up which witness the appearance of the young goalkeeper, Omar Salah, who will replace injured, Mahmoud Abdelrehim ‘Gennesh’.

Goalkeepers: Omar Salah
Defenders: Hamdi Nagguez - Mahmoud Alaa - Mahmoud Hamdi "Al Wensh" - Bahaa Magdy
Midfielders: Tarek Hamed - Farajani Sassi - Youssef Obama - Ibrahim Hassan - Ahmed Sayed Zizo
Attackers: Omar Al Saeed.

Zamalek placed third in the Egyptian league after Al Ahly, leader of the league, and Pyramids FC, second placed.


Al Ahly is leading the league with 74 points with two games to play against Mokawlon & Zamalek. While Zamalek are in the third place with 68 points with three games to play against El Gouna, Ismaily & Al Ahly.
