CAIRO, 21 July 2019: Egypt's handball youth team have remained at the top of Group B of the U-21 World Cup in Spain with a 38-36 win over South Korea.

The win is the fourth straight for the Egyptian team after a previous win over Australia 44-17, Nigeria 47-30, Sweden 32-22.

The Pharaohs are expected to face France on July 22nd in the last round to decide the top of group. Egypt lead the group with 8 points, above France which have 6 points.

The top four qualify for th 16th round of the World Youth Championship. Egypt are in Group B among other teams; Nigeria, Australia, Sweden, France and South Korea.

In the last edition of the 2017 World Youth Championship, the youth of Egypt achieved the 17th place.

Egypt won the title once in 1993, the bronze medal in 1999 and the fourth place three times in 2009, 2011 and 2015.
