CAIRO, 29 June 2019: Tunisia coach Alain Giresse has expressed his satisfaction with Mali's draw, stressing that he does not blame goalkeeper Moez Hassan for receiving goal.

Tunisia have tied with Mali 1-1 in their game on Friday at Suez stadium. Mali remained on the top of the group with four points while Tunisia with two points.

Many Egyptian fans attended the game demanding to watch Ferjani Sassi on the pitch as he is one of Zamalek players, but Giresse revealed his injury in the press conference.

Giresse said “I thank God that there is no more than one Tunisian player playing in the Egyptian league, because in this case, I will have to involve every player whose name is called in the stands.

“Ferjani Sassi is returning from injury and needs rehabilitation in order to return to his full level,” he added.

Tunisia are set to face Mauritania on July 2 in their last game of the group stages.
