National team flies to Tunisia

CAIRO – 10 June 2017: The Egyptian national football team finished training in its camp in Borg El-Arab, Alexandria on Friday ahead of its trip to Tunisia.

The team is scheduled to face off against the Tunisian national team at Stade Olympique de Radès next Sunday in the qualifiers for the 2019 CAF African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The team’s last raining session was held in the presence of the president of Egyptian Football Association Hany Abu Reida, member of the board of and the head of Tunisia’s delegation Hazem Emam and Amer Hussein, head of the competitions section in the Egyptian Football Association, Filgoal reported on Friday.

Hector Cuper, the national team’s coach, has named the players who went to Tunisia: Essam El Hadary (Wadi Degla), Sherif Ekramy (Ahly), Ahmed El Shenawi (Zamalek), Ahmed Fathi (Ahly),Ahmed Hegazy (Ahly), Abdallah El Saied (Ahly), Amr Gamal (Al Ahly), Ramy Rabeia (Ahly), Mahmoud Abdel Moniem ‘Kahraba’(Zamalek), Mostafa Fathi (Zamalek), Ali Gabr (Zamalek), Tarek Hamed (Zamalek), Ahmed El Sheikh (Misr El Maqassa), Ahmed El Mohamady (Hulll City), Mohamed Abdel Shafy (Saudi Arabia's Ahly), Mohamed El Nenny (Arsenal), Mohamed Salah (Roma), Omar Gaber (Basel), Ramdan Sobhy (Stoke City), Karim Hafez (Lens) and Amr Warda (Paok).

Mahmoud Trezeguet was excluded because of injury.
