CAIRO – 12 June 2019: Liverpool Senegalese winger, Sadio Mane, leads his national team final squad that will participate in 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Senegal national team manager, Aliou Cissé, announced the team’s final squad for the competition which included Napoli’s defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Barcelona’s Moussa Wagué.

Senegal fans put all their hopes on Mane’s shoulders to lead the team to win the competition for the first time in the history.

Senegal reached the final in 2002 but lost the final to Cameroon on penalty shoot-outs.
Cissé’s final squad for the tournament consists of:

Goalkeepers: Abdoulaye Diallo (Rennes, France), Alfred Gomis (Spal, Italy), Edouard Mendy (Reims, France)

Defenders: Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli, Italy), Moussa Wague (FC Barcelona, Spain), Pape Abdou Cisse (Olympiacos, Greece), Salif Sane (Schalke,Germany), Youssouf Sabaly (Bordeaux,France), Lamine Gassama (Goztepe, Turkey), Saliou Ciss (Valenciennes, France), Cheikhou Kouyate (Crystal Palace, England)

Midfielders: Alfred Ndiaye (Malaga, Spain), Santy Ngom (Nancy, France), Idrissa Gana Gueye (Everton, England), Keprin Diatta (Club Brugge, Belgium), Pape Alioune Ndiaye (Galatasaray, Turkey), Sidy Sarr (Lorient, France), Henri Saivet (Bursaspor, Turkey)

Senegal plays in Group C alongside Kenya, Tanzania and Algeria.
