CAIRO – 3 June 2019: Liverpool German manager, Jurgen Klopp, declared on Sunday that his team’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday night is the best night of is career.

“It is the best night of our professional lives. Did you ever see a team like, this, fighting with no fuel in the tank?” Klopp told press.

Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, opened the score after two minutes from the penalty spot and Liverpool Belgian striker, Divock Origi, added te second goal before the final whistle to secure his team’s victory.

Klopp added “This is only the start for this group, they're a wonderful age group, I have a lot of silver medals and now I have a golden one. That's cool.”

Liverpool have had an outstanding season which ended with achieving the Champions League title.

Liverpool’s victory put an end to 14 years of suffering in Europe as the team’s last European title was in 2005 when they defeated AC Milan on penalty-shootouts after the game ended with a 3-3 draw in Istanbul and their historic captain, Steven Gerrard, lifted the club’s fifth Champions League title.

Liverpool were also sensational at the domestic league as they reached 97 points but finished second behind the winners, Manchester City who reached 98 points.
