Mortada reveals formation of Zamalek coaching staff

CAIRO - 1 June 2019: Zamalek's president, Mortada Mansour, announced the formation of coaching staff to take over the task of coaching management during the next stage.

Mortada revealed during his talks with Al Mehwar channel that Khaled Galal will be permanent coach, and assisted by Tamer Abdel Hamid and Amir Azmy.

Coaching Staff:

Coach: Khaled Galal

General Coach: Nabil Mahmoud

Assistant Coaches: Tamer Abdel Hamid and Amir Azmy

Goalkeeper coach: Ayman Taher

Khaled Galal, Zamalek's new coach, insisted to keep Amir Mortada Mansour in his position as general supervisor of the football sector in the club. Also, Ayman Hafez will be in the same position as the team's general coordinator.

For his part, Khaled Galal thanked Mortada Mansour for his confidence and promised to do his best in the coming period to crown Zamalek title league.

Zamalek faced Al Intag Al Harby at Petrosport stadium on Thursday night but failed in using their African joy to reap the three points.

Khaled Botayeb took the lead in the first minute of the second half before Al Intag Al Harby's Moaz Al Henawy leveld the score from the penalty spot.

The draw raised Zamalek points to 67 from 30 games. Seven points behind the leader, Al Ahly, who is on the top with 74 points from 32 games.
Zamalek faces Haras El Hedoud on Monday, June 3rd, at Alexandria stadium in the 30th round of the Egyptian League.
