Zamalek President fires team coach Christian Gross

CAIRO - 1 June 2019: Zamalek's SC President Mortada Mansour fired the first team coach, Christian Gross, officially and appointed Khaled Galal as a permanent manager.

Mansour took the decision right after his team's stumble against Al-Intag Al-Harby in the Egyptian League. They ended their game with a 1-1 draw in the postponed match from the 31st round.

"Gross is specialist in failure; everything is done and he left the club," Zamalek's president spoke to Al-Mehwar channel after the match.

"Khaled Galal is set to be our next coach. I reached an agreement with him before the match," He continued.

Khaled Galal was on the bench as a coach for Zamalek before as he ruled four matches; won them all and achieved Egypt's Cup.
