CAIRO –9 June 2017: The Egyptian squash player Nouran Gohar won its game against the English Alison Waters Thursday in her last game of the group stage of the Dubai World series tournament to reach the semi-finals.

Gohar defeated Waters by two clean sets 11-7 and 14-12 to be her second victory in the group stage, securing her seat in the next stage, where she might face her fellow citizen Nour el-Sherbiny and the other players of Group B.

The 3rd female Egyptian Raneem al-Welily left the tournament Thursday after losing from the French Camille Serme by 2-1 sets with result 11-7, 7-11 and 12-10,to be Raneem’s second lose to come in the 3rd place in Group A and fail to qualify to the next stage.

Egypt participates in Dubai World series finals with 7 players, 4 in the men’s tournament and 3 in the women’s, the tournament is played in Dubai Opera from June 6-10.
