CAIRO- 26 May 2019: African Football Confederation (CAF) officials will begin a final round of inspections for the African Cuo of Nations' stadiums this week, according to a source at the organizing committee.

The inspection begins on Sunday to review the progress of the work and the latest preparations in the stadiums for the matches and training.

"On Sunday, officials will visit the stadium in Alexandria and training grounds for the second group," A source told Filgoal website.

"On Monday, the inspection will be on Suez Stadium and the training pitches for the sixth group. Officials will travel on Tuesday to see Ismailia Stadium and the fifth group training ground," he added.

"On Wednesday, the inspection committee will visit three stadiums in Cairo; Cairo stadium, Al Salam stadium & 30 June stadium," he concluded.

The AFCON starts on June 21 and ends on July 19. The tournament takes place with the participation of 24 teams in six groups for the first time in the history of the African competition.

Egypt plays in Group A alongside the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
