CAIRO - 24 May 2019: Algeria will play two friendly matches in preparation for the 2019 African Nations Cup in Egypt.

The desert warriors will meet Burundi on Tuesday, June 11th, in Qatar. Then they will face Mali on Sunday, June 16th.

The Algerian team will start their preparations for the tournament on June 3 at the Sidi Moussa Sports Center.

Algeria's team is scheduled to fly to Cairo on Tuesday, June 18th. Algeria are in Group C with Senegal, Kenya and Tanzania.

The AFCON starts on June 21 and ends on July 19. The tournament takes place with the participation of 24 teams in six groups for the first time in the history of the African competition.
